NeedlepointFinish ("we," "us") is operated by Craftily LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use NeedlepointFinish, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the site, you agree to this policy.
Account information you provide when you sign up or build a profile (name, email, and for finishers your display name, bio, location, studio address, and links). Order information (the pieces you book or finish, sizes, options, special instructions, and deadlines). Shipping addresses and phone numbers used to generate shipping labels. Photos you upload of canvases and finished work. Messages you send through the platform. We also automatically collect basic technical and usage data, and we set a cookie to attribute referrals.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card number and security code are entered directly with Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We retain limited payment metadata (such as amounts, status, and a payment reference) needed to manage orders, escrow, payouts, refunds, and accounting.
To create and manage your account; to facilitate bookings between stitchers and finishers; to process payments, hold funds in escrow, and release finisher payouts; to generate shipping labels and tracking; to send transactional emails and respond to support requests; to operate referral and credit programs; to detect and prevent fraud and abuse; and to maintain and improve the service.
To fulfill an order, we share the information needed between the stitcher and the finisher involved (for example, names, shipping addresses, photos, and messages). We share data with service providers who operate the platform on our behalf - including Stripe (payments and payouts), Clerk (authentication), Supabase (database/hosting), Shippo (shipping labels and tracking), Postmark (email), Cloudinary (image hosting), and analytics providers (PostHog and Vercel Analytics) that help us understand how the site is used. We may disclose information to comply with the law or to protect our rights, and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell your personal information.
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, to operate core features, and to attribute referrals (for example, a referral code stored for up to 30 days). Our analytics providers (PostHog and Vercel Analytics) also use cookies or similar identifiers to measure page views and usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect how the site works.
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then for the period required to meet legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. We may retain certain records (such as transaction history) after account closure where required or permitted by law.
You can review and update most account information from your dashboard. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To make a request, email support@needlepointfinish.com and we will respond as required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, and we rely on established providers (such as Stripe and Clerk) for sensitive operations. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
NeedlepointFinish is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and material changes may be communicated by email or through the site. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
