How are finishers vetted?
Every finisher goes through a manual application review. We look at portfolio quality, finish type expertise, and professional references. Less than 30% of applicants are approved.
What if my canvas is damaged in transit?
All shipments include carrier insurance. For pieces with declared value over $200 we automatically add additional coverage at checkout. If something goes wrong, our support team manages the claim for you.
How long does finishing typically take?
Turnaround times vary by finisher and finish type. Most pillows and ornaments take 4–6 weeks. Stockings typically run 6–10 weeks. Each finisher lists their current turnaround time on their profile.
When does my finisher get paid?
Your payment is held securely in escrow from the moment you book. It releases to your finisher automatically 72 hours after confirmed delivery — or immediately when you confirm receipt in your dashboard.
Can I work with a finisher I already know?
If your finisher isn't on the platform yet, invite them to apply. We review all applications within 48 hours. Many finishers join specifically because a stitcher referred them.
What does NeedlepointFinish charge?
Nothing to stitchers. Our platform fee is paid by finishers as a percentage of each transaction. The price you see is the price you pay.
